We've just wrapped up a powerful, action-packed last few days of putting the finishing touches on filming our daily content for Cleanse America's upcoming 10-Day June Cleanse. Our team had a wonderful time and we can't wait to share the footage we've been able to get over the last several weeks with everyone who will participating!

Tales of Our Travels

Hello Cleanse America Family!

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind tour for members of the Cleanse America team. From Oklahoma to Texas to New York to California, we have traveled to interview some of the most inspirational people in America.

First stop was New York City, which was a nonstop roller coaster ride of awesomeness. We met up with Anthony Anderson (aka the Raw Model) of Grow Paradise and explored topics that included permaculture, edible food forests, inner city gardens and foraging in the city!! Next we met with Tracy Piper, founder of The Piper Center for Internal Wellness, aka wellness guru to the stars. My experience with her was a game changer on many levels as I received my first colonic (which was filmed - thanks Daniel & Penni : ) When you participate in our upcoming June Cleanse, you'll get to see the experience.....the vulnerable, uncomfortable and healing parts of the process. Through this experience, I was able to release deep emotional pain that I had been holding onto that I wanted to hold onto so tight. Baby tears were shed and a tremendous weight was lifted. We can't wait to introduce you to Tracy, a gifted healer, and now very good friend to us all. Tracy is the bomb dot com!

The amazing Mia Andres, event organizer at Organic Avenue, orchestrated 2 amazing evenings that were blessed with beautiful sharing, meeting some truly wonderful people, lots of laughter and fantastic connections. On Wednesday evening, Anthony Anderson spoke from his passion of organic gardening and growing edible food forests nationally and abroad, Seth Luker and Mike Wall from Rockin Wellness shared their history of fighting disease (MS dnd Cancer) and how they keep their energy supercharged with mineralization, water and exercise. And Tracy Piper enlighted and entertained the house regarding her expertise in colon health, detoxing and cleansing. On Thursday evening, Average Joe on the Raw had it's first exclusive New York premiere and core team member Daniel Hayhurst represented AJotR brilliantly! Cleanse America's message was supported by and shared by Organic Avenue, ALIVE New York, Raw Food Rehab and Rockin' Wellness to hundreds of thousands of people.

During our stay in NYC we met comdian Eddie Brill, (long time talent scout and nightly warm up act for David Letterman). We engaged him at an East Village park for a workout, showing that you can get your body movement on anywhere and anytime. We filmed simple, easy and fun movements that anyone can do, which will be included in the exercise segment of our upcoming June cleanse. Eddie changed his diet to high raw and plant based a couple of years ago and has lost 130 pound, as well as reversing a multitude of symptoms. Eddie proves that hearty laughter is another perfect way of developing and strengthening your core : )

Only home for a short weekend, we were back in the air and off to Southern California, which was non-stop beauty, adventure and inspiration. We landed in San Diego and met up with Mimi Kirk, maven of timeless beauty and longevity. At 73 yrs. old, she has the energy and appearance of someone at least thirty years younger. She shares a lifetime of stories, priceless lessons learned and shows how she serves up some of the most delicious raw food treats you have ever tasted. A number of her tantalizing recipes will appear in your June Recipe Guide!

Next stop was Long Beach to meet up with the intriguing Judita Wignall. Raw food chef, singer, actress, model and author, Judita shares her her story of transformation and a quick and delightful recipe that is ideal for a hot summer day! She walks us through her workouts, her kitchen, backyard garden and her recording studio. Redheads have more fun and we have the footage to prove it -as the information she shares is priceless.

Next we were off to Santa Monica to hang with Jeff Skierik - The Rawtographer! Jeff has spent time with and taken pictures of the industries top leaders, educators and tend-setters. Jeff may be one of the health industry's best kept secrets, and were able to get him to share simple tips that will support you from his years of collected wisdom. We get in a great workout that is geared towards anyone's fitness level and Jeff also talks about the importance of sunlight, movement, intuitive/clean eating and the basics of hydration. It's a power-packed segment!

Lastly, but certainly not least - we caught up with the beautiful and inspiring Tresa Yung in Brentwood, CA. She speaks with wisdom, elegance and grace as she shares her story of healing, transformation and finding balance mentally, physically and spiritually. We feel this interview will deeply resonate and inspire many of you on your journey.

So, as you can tell, it was a truly epic trip. Over the coming weeks we'll be editing videos, creating our new community site, finishing the recipe guides, balancing our family lives and finishing up interviews with Kim Williams, Dr. Linda Heflin, Karen McCarville & Scott Oldner and more surprises!
